Van Security

Is it worth the risk? Armour Plate Security can now install the following types of locks for most requirements and budgets to your vehicle.
Slam Locks
As the name says slam your door and it will automatically be locked and require the key to open them this type of lock is ideal and a time saver on vehicles that make frequent delivery stops. You will never leave your vehicle unlocked again. Doors can be opened from inside as per normal but you have to have a key to open from outside. If used on key system 3 the locks become Thatchum accredited.
Dead Locks
These locks are fitted as an addition and work independently from your vehicles fitted locks and central locking system they are similar to the dead lock on your house door you will have to use a key to lock and open it and are more secure than slam locks and are ideal for vehicles that have goods left in them over night. If used on key system 3 the locks become Thatchum accredited.

Repairs and Replacements
We are able to fit, repair and supply all makes of locks from Banham locks to Yale locks.
We also fit spy holes, hasps and sash locks.
Apart from front and back doors, our master locksmiths at Armour Plate are also able to work on garage doors, install window locks, panic bars and dummy cameras.

Armour Plate Security Counter Sales
We can normally duplicate any type of key required while-u-wait. The keys we can cut include keys for house cylinder and mortice dead locks, safe locks, cabinet lock and padlock. We also program coded micro-chipped security transponder keys for car door locks. We can produce a key from a coded number when you have lost a key.
We guarantee our key cutting services, covering the full range of keys from cylinder and mortice keys for household locks to security micro-chipped car keys. Our key machines are checked daily, therefore there should be no problems with our key cutting service. We have thousands of key blanks in stock, however we will order a key for whatever you require, even for small quantities.
